It was 1945 when Antonio Demontis, determined to address the difficulties of the immediate postwar period, had the idea of transforming two Ape motorcycles into rickshaws for passenger transportation.
The experiment was an unexpected success: Antonio decided to obtain licenses to start a taxi and chauffeur-driven car rental business.
So in 1950, with the entry of their son Pasqualino into the company, the Demontis family was ready to take its first big step into the world of car rental: chauffeur-driven car rental.

This and much more is what Autonoleggi Demontis is today: the sole Avis Budget dealer for Sardinia, with a widespread presence thanks to twelve offices spread across all airports and major towns on the island.
